Some people will do anything to play halftime at the big game.

Big-time reports say Jon Bongiovi (yes, that's how you really spell it) is in serious talks to purchase part of or all of the Buffalo Bills.

Wait a minute: What does Jon Bon know about owning a football team?

More than one might think. He owned and made money on his indoor football team, so it would only seem a logical move into the big leagues.

And what better place than Buffalo? The team isn't that expensive to run (by NFL standards). The fans love the team, love Bon Jovi and would support a move like this if it meant a bigger budget (winning seasons).

Don't look for a deal like this to happen tomorrow, though -- things like this take a long time. Until that day comes, we'll be living on a prayer.
