We're waiting for live in-person concerts to return in full to Western New York, and while some are getting scheduled this summer in the region, there are still concerns because of COVID-19.

If you remember, the Transit Drive-In showed a few virtual concerts last spring and summer, as huge recording artists across multiple genres performed for millions of fans, in the comfort of their own cars with the Encore Drive-In series.

Those virtual drive-in concerts are back this year at the Transit Drive-In and it starts on May 22nd.

The Transit Drive-In announced that Bon Jovi will be performing to kick off the season on May 22nd!

Tickets start as low as $68 per vehicle, and up to six people can be in any vehicle. However, you can get discounts on tickets if you go to Encore's website and submit your email to be notified of deals.

Tickets for Bon Jovi fan club members go on sale Wednesday, April 28th (tomorrow). They go on sale to the general public on Thursday, April 29th.

Bon Jovi has been scoring hits since 1984 and was one of the most prolific bands during the 80s and 90s, fronted by Jon Bon Jovi. Jon's released solo singles as well, including his pandemic hit from 2020, "Do What You Can."

We'll see what other concerts get announced but this is great to have back. In fact, I think they should keep these shows once things are back to normal, especially since the demand is there and people love sitting in their cars and watching live music.
