Be Careful Of This Redbox Scam

This past weekend, I was a victim of a Redbox scam.

I went to rent a game and when I got home to open the disc I noticed something wasn't right.

The disc looked ok, but it turned out that the disc was just a paper photocopy of the actual disc.

It still had the barcode and number on it, so the machine took it like the disc was in the box.

I reached out to Redbox and they told me that they will pull that disc and track who had rented it before me. They also credited my card back for the rental and gave me a free rental for my time.

Just a heads up, check the disc and make sure it is real before leaving the Redbox machine.
