Anchor Bar Is About To Open Another Location

The home of the original Buffalo chicken wing, since 1964, is about to expand!

According to the press release sent to WYRK, the new location will be in Frederick, Maryland!

Anchor Bar, home of the original Buffalo chicken wing since 1964, is expanding its world-famous franchise with its 16th restaurant opening  in Frederick at 5605 Spectrum Drive.

Anchor Bar serves more than 1 million lbs. of chicken every year across its locations, with Americans consuming more chicken on average than anywhere else in the world – the number one protein consumed in the United States.

This will be the Anchor Bar's 16th location!! Maryland is a great place for the new addition as many Buffalonians have moved in to that area in recent years. Let's face it. No other place can make wings the way we do in Buffalo and what better place to have them than the home of the original wing?
