Leave the kids at home as you head to the Buffalo Museum of Science for its latest exhibit.

The Buffalo Museum of Science wants you to face your fears this Friday with a special "Science After Dark" event called "Are You Afraid Of The Dark"

Around 35 different phobias will be showcased during the event and people will leave the science behind them.

Some of the phobias include bacteriophobia (fear of bacteria), coimetrophobia (fear of cemeteries), and ophidiophobia (fear of snakes).

Plus those people who have ophidiophobia will have a chance to come face to face with their fear and meet a boa constrictor named Ka.

“Are You Afraid of the Dark?” is 21 and up with ID required and will run this Friday from 6 pm to 9 pm.
