The hit TV show Roseanne has been canceled by ABC after the show's star sent on a racist tweet.

ABC Entertainment President Channing Dungey released a media statement about the tweets and the reaction ABC took canceling the show.

"Roseanne's Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel her show,"

The "Roseanne" show with was deemed a hit when it returned this Spring was already in pre-production for Season 2 that would have aired this Fall on Tuesday Nights on ABC.

Roseanne is still on Twitter and asked fans not to defend her and went to apologize to the writers and staff members of her show.
