The coronavirus has been in the news a lot lately after its origins in China. There's been a few cases here in the US and now it may be hitting very close to home.

According to WKBW, six people are self-quarantined in Rochester as the Monroe County Department of Health continues to monitor for the coronavirus.

The federal government put in place a new regulation requiring U.S. citizens returning from China to undergo screenings at at major airports, as well as take part in a two-week quarantine.

None of the six individuals are showing signs of the virus yet but will continue to be monitored.
