Jimmy Kimmel must really like those ZZ Top guys. That Little Ol' Band From Texas returned to the stage, after a five-month break following bassist Dusty Hill's tour-bus accident last year, earlier this week by performing three songs on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live.'

Now Kimmel has tapped the trio for the inaugural edition of his new Mash-Up Mondays series, which will feature collaborations between seemingly disparate artists. ZZ Top will team up with indie-rock vets Weezer for something called Wee-Z Top.

The series will run throughout February on Kimmel's late-night show. Other scheduled acts include old-school R&B singer Morris Day with indie-pop sisters Haim, and singer Aloe Blacc performing with '90s R&B group Blackstreet.

ZZ Top performed three songs on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' Monday night: 'I Gotsta Get Paid,' 'Tush' and 'La Grange.' There's no word on what the band plans to do with Weezer next week. The group will head back on the road in March, starting with tour dates in Ontario.
