About the only thing hotter than the Ice Bucket Challenge these days is bad commercials.

This spot for a Missouri mall is infamous for being so bad it's good. And that one follows whatever the heck this is.

Now, a new ad is breaking out of the pack. It's for Troy, a restaurant in Staten Island, whose production standards are hopefully lower than the eatery's food ones. The self-proclaimed "Empire of Taste" may not exactly be the empire of good taste, what with the talking meat and fish.

The commercial is reportedly real and features an actor with an accent whose lack of mastery over the English language makes it more compelling ("How many excuse do you need to eat great food?").

And let's not forget all those (not so) dazzling special effects. Whoever is responsible for them could be looking at a career in Hollywood (but probably not).
