Worst Traffic Lights in Town
I know Buffalo doesn't have the traffic that big cities like New York, Washington DC, and Los Angeles do but some of the traffic lights in our area really baffle me. There isn't a traffic light in the area that should make you wait more than a minute and half. Here is a list of some of the worst lights I've come across.
- 5
Five Corners in Orchard Park
Hit this light as it just turns to red and you're in for a 4 minute wait. Who decided it would be a good idea to have all three road intersect at one location. Not to mention having so much development right at that intersection as well. You're going to risk your if you try to make a left turn into McDonald's at 5pm on a weekday
- 4
Elmwood and Sheridan Drive
Traffic always seems to get backed up at this intersection. The timing of the lights is what really causes the traffic to get backed up.
- 3
Any Intersection where there is a Tim Horton's
During the morning hours you should be alert when approaching any intersection where there is a Tim Horton's. The drive through windows tend to get backed up causing traffic to sometimes spill out onto the road.

The corner of LeBrun and Main Street in Snyder
Coming off of LeBrun onto Main Street can make you want to go mad. It can take upwards to three to four minutes to get through this intersection. If you're on Main street it may take only 30 seconds or so.

Union Road and Walden Avenue
everyone knows what this intersection can be like during rush hour and have you ever tried getting through here during the holidays with all the shoppers coming from and going to the Galleria? Now mix in a couple of tractor trailers and you just lost about 5 minutes of your life.
