If you missed the Van Halen show in Buffalo in March, here's another chance to catch the band just down the 90 in Rochester. Van Halen has added 18 concerts to its highly successful 2012 North American tour and they roll through Rochester on July 17. Tickets go on sale this Saturday at 10 am at Ticketmaster.com and LiveNation.com. Or you could go the Jack FM route and become a Freeloader and try to win ya some tickets.

Eddie Van Halen revealed earlier this week that his cancer had returned twice, but this time he has it beat. Newly sober too,  Eddie must be feeling great with the the band getting along well enough to total 61 stops on the tour. If you head to Rochester there's a good chance that the show will be much different than the Buffalo show as the band has been constantly changing the setlists to bring in different material from then and now. Eddie credits his son Wolfgang for that and says he's the reason why Van Halen got back together. He just wanted a chance to tour with his son.

The band has been getting rave reviews on the recent tour with Roth being hailed as the ultimate showman and the band being called as limber and energetic as ever.

Van Halen recently premiered the video for She’s The Woman, the second single from A Different Kind Of Truth, the band’s first original studio album with singer David Lee Roth since the iconic, multi-platinum 1984.  Shot during its on-going live tour, the video presents a greatest hits of the band’s concert moments.

Ky-mani Marley, the son of Bob Marley is the opening act for the Rochester show, another interesting choice for Van Halen who had Kool and the Gang open the Buffalo show.
