.38 Special, those Wild Eyed Southern Boys from Jacksonville, head to Lewiston tonight for a free concert at Artpark. The Band's Southern Rock sound went mainstream in the early 80's with catchy pop riffs and hooks on the songs "Caught Up in You", and "Hold on Loosely" earning the band a pair of number one hits in 1981 and 1982.

The guilty pleasure song "Second Chance" also was a smash for the group in 1989 and while the band has been relatively quiet making new music since then, the band continues to tour, still led by Don Barnes and Donnie Van Zant. Tonight's show at Artpark is another in a long line of name acts heading out to Lewiston this year. Should be a great night classic rock.
