I love this time of the year!  The fall is here, Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and I have a ton of leftover Halloween candy to finish off!  I always hate skipping holidays but I’ve decided this year I’m going to start Christmas Shopping early this year.

Yes I know we do still have Thanksgiving BUT seriously instead of fight the crowds over that last Barbie on the shelves or driving through a snow storm to  the last store that claimed it had the crock pot your mother wanted just to find out they had just sold it, I’m going to get all my Christmas shopping done now.  Plus it’s the perfect time of the year for it! Why you ask?  Well there are seriously so many of the arts and craft festivals and holiday Bazaars everywhere you turn!  Here’s a list of my favorite ones!

First you have the Rummage and Bake Sale in East Aurora.  If Bake Sale wasn’t enough to get you out there then Rummage sale should.  You’ll get the chance to look over new and gently used household items, books, and even clothing.  You’re children asking for new furniture for the new apartment they moved into?  Why spend a fortune when you can just check out this sale!  They have furniture and antiques for you to look through!  The Rummage and Bake Sale is being held at the East Aurora Wesleyan Church on Main Street.

Then while you’re out and about definitely check out one of my favorite arts and craft festivals around m - Christmas in the Country!  If you have never been to this one then you have no idea what you’re missing.  They hold this event at the Hamburg Fairgrounds till Sunday and they have so many items for you to look over!  Seriously this one is a Western New York Holiday Tradition!  Christmas in the Country has artisans from all over the world so you know you’ll get a wide variety of gifts to choose from!  There is going to be jewelry, handcrafted items, children clothing and toys, soap, and that’s just the beginning.

Finally in Clarence at the Town Park Clubhouse is the Holiday Arts and Crafts Festival today and tomorrow.  They have packed solid this event with Artisans and Crafters from Western New York.  This event even has Free Admission!  They have so many items that you could get anyone in your family for Christmas!  You’ll be the most popular one of the family with some of these great gifts!
