The True Meaning Of Memorial Day – [VIDEO]

What does Memorial Day mean to you? As a kid, it meant a day off from school and now as an adult it's a nice long three day weekend full of parties and barbecues.
We have come to celebrate the extra day off, not recognize the freedoms that we have been given from our brave men and women who have sacrificed their lives for our country. In a time where celebrities and athletes are hailed as heroes, many have forgotten who the true American Heroes are. They are not the ones we see on TV and stage, they are not the ones in a baseball, basketball and football uniforms, they are the ones in a uniform with their last name on their chest and an American flag on their sleeve.

I'm not saying that you shouldn't enjoy your weekend, but as you crack another beer and toss a burger on the grill, just take a moment to remember the people who have given us the freedom we enjoy so much.
