Can you believe it snowed this morning? I know a lot of you are thinking that winter is going to be here soon and it’s going to be cold, icy driving conditions, shoveling the driveway every day, and there’s nothing fun to do outside. If you are one of those people that don’t like winter and want it to go by fast, I have a solution for you. Go to a ski resort and try either skiing or snowboarding. Once you get the hang of it you are going to get hooked and want to go every day. Every time you go you get better and better at it and your confidence keeps going up and you can take that confidence and use it in your everyday life. It is also a great way to get exercise during the winter and spend fun times with your family and friends. It is also a great stress reliever sliding down a mountain, away from work, school, and any of your problems. You go into your own little world and all you think about is what trail or trick you want to do next. It makes the winter just fly. Then when winter is over, you are going to wish it was back.

    Buffalo Ski Club

Buffalo Ski Club is the closest ski resort to Downtown Buffalo. If you skied in the past you may remember the resort Tamarack, where many people went to learn how to ski and snowboard, but they had to shut down the resort from lack of funds, so Buffalo Ski Club decided to buy them out and expand their resort. Now it is double the size and they kept were Tamarack was the same so if you want to go back to where you may have learned to ski or snowboard, you can ride those same slopes again and make new memories. When you get tired you can relax in the big old lodge with a big fire place inside that is always burning to keep you warm and cozy.
