There's a great article in today's Buffalo News about families returning to Western New York for the long holiday weekend. You probably can't pick a better time of year to return.

There’s a lot going on that draws them back, including the sold-out Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning, the sold-out World’s Largest Disco, Kim Mitchell at the Tralf, a bunch of holiday light shows, a couple of home Sabres games and a Bills game. It should be a great long holiday weekend.

Now if we could only find a way to keep everyone here. Feel free to tell us what you're doing for the long holiday weekend in the comments section below.  If you're not sure what to do this weekend, we've posted a ton of events on our Jacktivities calendar.

To say Dave Levinthal looks forward to Thanksgiving week in Buffalo is like saying the October Storm caught Western New Yorkers a little by surprise.
