August 1, 2011 Politicians have been trying to revitalize the Buffalo harbor for years. Saturday may have been the first break through, thanks to a couple bands from Canada.
July 30, 2011 The sold out Tragically Hip with The Arkells tonight is sure to be a rocking time. The Hip, for those of you who don't know, is a Canadian rock band from Kingston, Ontario. In their music career which is just short of three decades, the band has produced 12 studio albums, 2 live albums, and 46 singles. The band has been acclaimed for numerous awards including 14 Juno awards.
If you don't have a ticket for tonight's event, I suggest you try to buy one. Whatever the cost, it should be worth the price. For those of you who will be in attendance, here's a few videos to help syke you up!
Only in Buffalo could one of the summer's biggest parties be headlined by a Tragically Hip cover band. Well, Buffalo and Toronto. Or the other 10 Provinces and 3 territories of Canada...whatever that means. We're just saying if you like the Tragically Hip and you are a citizen of the U.S, you must be from Buffalo.
