November 1, 2011 Sublime was arguably the most energetic, original and uniquely eclectic band to emerge from any scene, anywhere, but ended withthe untimely death of lead singer, guitarist and songwriter Brad Nowell in 1996. But encompassing the sense of place and purpose long associated with Sublime’s music, Badfish, a tribute to Sublime has continued to channel the spirit of Sublime with a fury not feltfor quite some time. It's hard to believe it's been 20 years since we "Hippy-Danced" to the Spin Doctor's "Pocketful of Kryptonite" Album. Recorded in August of 1991, the songs "Two Princes" and "Little Miss Can't Be Wrong" didn't blaze any new trails in music according to Rolling Stone Magazine's 1993 review of the band, but the "universal Rock n Roll virtues" of the songs still resonate with audiences 20 years later.
