Fresh off this past Thursday's induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Rush won the Rock Album of the Year Juno award  for 'Clockwork Angels' last night in Regina, Saskatchewan. The group beat out alt.rockers Billy Talent, retro-rock band the Sheepdogs, the Tragically Hip and Big Wreck to walk away with the eighth Juno award of their career.

No matter how successful a person might be in his chosen field, he can still have heroes who make him feel like a kid again. Just ask Dave Grohl, who had what sounds like a deeply emotional experience when meeting up with the members of Rush for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

Last night during the 28th annual induction ceremony for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Canadian progressive rock trio Rush finally joined the celebrated cast. As expected, their fans were there in full force to support them last night (April 18) with earth-shaking applause and standing ovations at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Calif.

Rush were the runaway stars at the 2013 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony last night. Well, it finally happened, Rush fans -- the legendary Canadian power trio is finally, officially, ensconced in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Dave Grohl may have phrased it best in his induction speech for the band, when he asked the audience in mock puzzlement: "When the f--- did Rush become cool?"

As if finally being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame weren't enough, the members of Rush are receiving another high honor. The Canadian progressive rock trio have been chosen as one of a series of rock acts featured in the Canadian Recording Artists stamp series, issued by Canada Post.

As one of the most successful and influential bands of the last 40 years, Rush's music and lyrics have long been the subject of literary scrutity. Now, a new book takes a further look at why they have been so important.

Rush's induction page on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame web site has been completed -- and it leaves out original drummer John Rutsey, creating a stir among long-time fans.

As if anyone really needed another reason to wish they were in Milwaukee during late June and early July, this year's Summerfest lineup looks like the classic rock party of a lifetime.
