November 16, 2011 Roger Waters left Pink Floyd in 1984 after writing lyrics for some of the Floyd Boys biggest albums, including the Wall. After Waters left the band, Pink Floyd continued to produce songs with David Gilmour at the helm. The band experienced tremendous success before and after Waters called himself a member of Pink Floyd.
