Labatt Blue announced today that if weather does not permit a pond hockey tournament, the players will take to the streets instead. Unseasonable warm temperatures and rain have kept the Erie Basin Marina ice free.

The Labatt Blue Buffalo Pond Hockey Tournament  is in jeopardy because of the warm winter. Luckily organizers have a contingency plan to save the popular winter tournament. We don't no what they plan to announce at tomorrow's press conference, but the brainiac's here at Jack FM put our heads together to save the popular event.

It's almost that time of year again. The annual Labatt Blue Pond Hockey Tournament will be held February 10 through the 12th at the Erie Basin Marina.

A new event at the 4th annual Labatt Blue Buffalo Pond Hockey Tournament will give 10 contestants a chance to win a new Ford Explorer. On Saturday, February 12, 10 randomly selected finalists will take their best shot in a Hockey Shootout to win it. Finalists will receive one chance to shoot a puck through a four-inch target from 100 feet away.

The date for the second annual Powderkeg festival has been announced. Saturday February 12th and Sunday February 13th. From the website it looks bigger than last year and last year was huge, with a sledding hill off the 190, an ice maze, and concert stage.
