With music festival cruises being all the rage these days, it makes sense that there would be a cruise dedicated to the most popular group of all-time. In March 2013, the Cruise for Beatles Fans will sail from Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. on the sea of green for a week-long floating celebration of all things John, Paul, George and Ringo.

Three of the four sons of famous Beatles are willing to team up to honor their dads. James McCartney — son of Paul – had suggested the possibility earlier this year, adding that Sean Lennon and Dhani Harrison were fond of the idea.

Martin Scorsese's George Harrison documentary, Living In The Material World was released today.The documentary, which originally aired on HBO last month includes interviews with Harrison's family, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, George Martin, Eric Clapton, first wife Pattie Boyd, Yoko Ono, Phil Spector, and his Traveling Wilbury mates Tom Petty, and Jeff Lynne.

This coming Monday, August 1, marks 40 years since George Harrison and some famous friends performed the Concert for Bangladesh, and the anniversary is being celebrated with digital downloads, a month dedicated to charitable giving and free streams of the ‘Concert for Bangladesh’ movie.
