Current Guns N' Roses bassist Tommy Stinson has confirmed that founding member Duff McKagan will rejoin the band for a five-show tour of South America that begins this weekend.
When Slash and Duff McKagan walked offstage following Guns N' Roses' July 17, 1993, concert in Buenos Aires, they had no idea it would be their last gig with the band they helped make famous.
"Rock bassist" isn't exactly the most financially stable career, but Duff McKagan has proven an exception to the rule -- not only by virtue of his membership in major bands like Guns 'N' Roses and Velvet Revolver, but also because of the dollar sense he picked up when he enrolled in college later in life.
After a few decades on the road, Duff McKagan has learned a thing or two about how to keep people from going crazy when they're stuck with each other for extended periods of time. The former Guns N' Roses bassist shared a bit of that wisdom in his latest column for the Seattle Weekly, titled 'Top 12 Tour Bus Rules and No-Nos.'

A mini-Guns N' Roses reunion of sorts took place this past Thursday (March 7) While touring together in Tokyo, Duff McKagan and Steven Adler both sat in on the other's set to play a couple of their old classics. The videos are embedded below.
