Not only do I remember the pain from "No Goal," I was forced to witness the Dallas Stars celebration at the then-Marine Midland Arena as a reporter from Metro Community News. Brett Hull sat perched on his locker, looking over a sea of family, friends and teammates and soaking in the moment. It was his first Stanley Cup, and even today, it still feels jaded.

Over the weekend, Terry Pegula continued to make good on his promise to honor the Buffalo Sabres tradition by bringing back Dominik Hasek. The Sabres responded with an 8-2 whipping of Atlanta. The Sabres have a history of Vezina winning goalies, from the tandem of Don Edwards and Bob Sauve to Tom Barasso, and today Ryan Miller. But none of them compare to Hasek.
