Ladies and gentleman, we're back at it again -- it's another round of dogs in holiday costumes. This time, however, there's a huge difference-- we're not responsible in the least bit! See, these dogs did it all to themselves.
No matter what the holiday, we always love getting extra festive. It's not like we need an excuse to wear awful Christmas sweaters or take part in a harmless snowman prank, but doing that stuff during the season makes us look a little less crazy. The season also provides the perfect excuse to go way overboard in the decorating department.
Because we can't all be in the Christmas spirit all the time, here is a gigantic supercut of all the "bah humbugs" from movies and TV shows. It's perfect those who hate eggnog and glad tidings, and those think that 'A Christmas Carol' is a classic and what a wonderful way to catch as many version of it as possible at once.
With Christmas only one week away, Santa is a pretty busy guy these days. He has to double check all presents are made, organize final copies of the naughty and nice lists and do some last-minute reindeer grooming so they're in tip-top shape for Christmas. It's a stressful few weeks, but Santa's been doing it for like, hundreds of years, so he has the whole thing down pat.
Santa will be taking a break from using his sleigh as it gets fixed and ready to go for next week...at least for tomorrow (December 19). It's pretty cool that we will have him right in our backyard! He's going to be heading underground TOMORROW on the Metro to visit kids. Here's the schedule...
The holiday season isn't just a time for good tidings and spreading cheer, it's also a month-long occasion where frustration builds to a point of near-explosion. And lucky for Conan O'Brien, he's discovered a perfect way to unleash those irritations unto the holiday that makes us all crazy, stressed and maybe a little bit thankful -- beating the heck out of everything Christmas with a slo-mo camera.
Unfortunately for us, we don't have a toy like that
Roughly 800 people put on Santa costumes for the Fourth Annual Michendorf Santa Run in Michendorf, Germany. The race is sponsored by Laufclub Michendorf (which translated means Michendorf Running Club, imagine that) and is 10 kilometers long. You can't quite tell from these pictures, but it actually began snowing pretty hard during the race, which probably makes these the most Christmas-y photos ever. Enjoy!
Single people are always getting a bad rap, and it's especially worse during the holidays. At one time or another, I'm sure we've all gotten that look of pity from a coworker, a friend, a grandma or a stranger when they find out that you're facing the holiday season without a significant other. Or, the word I prefer: ALONE.
You can always spot a parent around the holiday season. Their hair is a frazzled mesh of cow licks and stray strands as if it’s been pulled by a crowd of frantic people. Their eyes dart around in all directions desperately seeking something that could suddenly appear at a moment’s notice. They break down and cry during commercials that advertise “the hottest toy of the holiday season.”
Ghastly little children and zombie corpses in elevators aren't the only things petrifying people around the world this holiday season. It looks like even Frosty himself is getting in on the act to wish us all a very happy (and spooky) holiday.
Most people are familiar with the massive, and very impressive, Christmas tree that graces New York City’s Rockefeller Center every year. This tree has come to symbolize the holiday season for millions of people, and is something of national icon, appearing as a backdrop in countless movies and television specials.
