Over the weekend, Terry Pegula continued to make good on his promise to honor the Buffalo Sabres tradition by bringing back Dominik Hasek. The Sabres responded with an 8-2 whipping of Atlanta. The Sabres have a history of Vezina winning goalies, from the tandem of Don Edwards and Bob Sauve to Tom Barasso, and today Ryan Miller. But none of them compare to Hasek. Rick Martin, Legendary Member of French Connection, Dead
Who knew that last month's reunion of the French Connection would be it's last. Rick Martin, the famed #7, died in Clarence today in a car accident. Witnesses said he was slumped over the wheel before the accident, and early reports said he may have suffered a heart attack while driving his car. Shocking news for sure. He was only 59.
