Steve Harvey Talks to ‘Toddlers and Tiaras’ Stars, Things Get Weird

‘Toddlers and Tiaras’ is like ‘Here Comes Honey Boo Boo‘ – it’s one of those TLC shows you know is downright weird and confusing, but you just can’t help but be sucked in by its hilarity. In fact, little miss Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson is a veteran of the reality series, so that explains a whole heck of a lot.

In the event you haven’t been in touch with civilization for the past three years, ‘Toddlers and Tiaras’ features little kids parading around in glitzed-out and glammed-up costumes and makeup that’s two inches thick, all for a shot at winning crowns and trophies. Aside from the whole ridiculous factor, the entertainment comes from seeing kids who either hate pageants so much they throw tantrums mid-performance or those who ham it up in front of the judges the minute they hit the stage.

Funny guy Steve Harvey recently had two of the former types on his talk show, and let’s just say things got weird… really quickly. Elizabeth started singing ‘You’re a Grand Old Flag,’ Kayla got a little limelight jealously and began bopping around with her leg in the air, and then we felt like we were in a nightmare — a cute but very strange nightmare.

Will this pair be the next Princess Sophia Grace and Rosie?
