It looks like this recent episode of ‘Saturday Night Live‘ wasn’t just Kristen Wiig‘s last show. It might also have been the last time we see Andy Samberg, too. While no statements have yet been issued by NBC, certain sketches, like the Digital Short “Lazy Sunday 2,” suggests it was.

Aside from Wiig’s obvious castoff ceremony at the show’s finale, Samberg paired up again with Chris Parnell for a sequel to one of their most famous and hysterical ‘SNL’ sketches of all time, “Lazy Sunday.” Only this time, they weren’t rapping about ‘The Chronicles of Narnia.’

What got these New Yorkers all riled up was having “cray” awesome eggs benedict with no “yo” and watching ‘Sister Act’ with Raven Symone. Sounds like a pretty awesome Sunday, if you ask us. But if you listen closely, Samberg may have actually confirmed that he’s leaving the show.

He raps, “On these New York streets I hone my fake rap penmanship. That’s how it began, and that’s how I’m-a finish it.”

“Lazy Sunday” was ‘SNL’s’ first major Digital Short, going almost instantly viral online after its release. While it’s admirable for Samberg to finish his run paying tribute to what jump started his career, doesn’t that also mean there will be no more Digital Shorts?
