Just a few days after we were treated to a sample from the title track to Slash's upcoming 'World on Fire' album, he's unleashed the full-length single.

The 'World on Fire' single is now available on YouTube and via various digital music outlets, offering four minutes and change of proof that the new record will leave room for good old-fashioned rock 'n' roll -- as well as a healthy helping of the guitar pyrotechnics he's known for. Slash and his band Myles Kennedy & the Conspirators aren't reinventing the wheel here, but if the title track is any indication, they're playing squarely to their strengths: Aggressive, uptempo rock, topped off with wailing vocals and guitar solos. If you've been along for the ride with Slash until now, this song should satisfy.

There's no telling when we'll hear more from 'World on Fire,' although given that the album isn't scheduled to arrive in stores until Sept. 17, Slash seems to be getting out in front awfully early, and there's definitely plenty of time for more singles between now and the release date. For now, check out the title track via the clip embedded at the top of this post, and look for Slash and his crew on tour with Aerosmith this summer.
