If you missed out on seeing the leader of the Fab Four when he came through Buffalo in 2015, it's redemption time!

Yesterday it was just announced Sir Paul McCartney will be bringing his 2017 North American tour to Syracuse on September 23rd!

If you're a fan, you know McCartney was SUPPOSED to play the Dome back in 1993, but had to cancel because he was getting ready for the Fox-TV concert.  The show was "postponed"...apparently, for 24 years!

The 74 year old Beatle is touring Tokyo this month, and is the second Beatle to play Syracuse in the last 12 months. Ringo Star played the Lakeview Amphitheater last June.

Will tickets cost an arm and a leg?  Well, they OPEN at just $29.50 when they go on sale on May 1st ... HOPEFULLY we won't have the issues of scalpers and 3rd party vendors scooping all of them up. No guarantees, though.

By the way, the last time a concert event of this magnitude hit the Carrier Dome was in 2014 when Billy Joel's tour came through, making it Joel's seventh time visiting.
