You may not know this, but ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ actually has four verses.

Fans at a Lehigh Valley IronPigs game this past August learned that the long way when Broadway singer Lena Hall sang the entire national anthem prior to first pitch – not the one verse that is traditionally played before sporting events.

It’s interesting to hear the entire tune and even more interesting to see the reactions of the people in the stadium.

Somewhere, Francis Scott Key is surely looking down and smiling.
