Selena Gomez – Crush of the Day

Former teen starlet and Disney Channel moppet Selena Gomez is all grown up. The singer-actress-Bieber arm candy celebrated her 20th birthday with fans on stage at yesterday’s celebration of all things loud and annoying, the Teen Choice Awards.

Anyone looking to see Gomez party a little harder will have to wait for the upcoming indie flick Spring Breakers, in which Gomez and other shapely young things, like Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Benson, play drugged up beach skanks who hang out with a cornrow-capped James Franco.

Here’s what Benson had to say about her, Hudgens’ and Gomez’s performances in the movie: “Vanessa and I are all drunk and coked out in the movie. Selena is just drunk, not coked out.”

Sounds like good clean fun, eh kids?

Spring Breakers hits theaters next year, but Gomez is keeping busy with roles in various animated features and TV shows as well as a co-starring gig in the thriller Aftershock, co-written by and starring Hostile helmer Eli Roth. Here’s hoping she and Roth hit it off, because we think Gomez has some solid scream queen potential.
