Then again if your Dad isn’t into wine but LOVES trains then this will be a big hit with him today.  Today at the Medina Railroad Museum is their Father’s Day Train Ride.  There are trains leaving the station at 11am and 2pm today.  You’ll get to relax with your Dad and the family today on a two hour train ride through the Erie Canal corridor from Medina to Lockport and then back.  Along with that your admission will also include admission to the largest railroad and toy train museum.  Dad’s who love trains will love this event today!

Finally if your Dad is the outdoors type like my Dad you’ll want to check out this event!  Today at the Tifft Nature Preserve from 2pm to 4p they will be holding the Tifft History Tour.  Spend the day at Tifft learning all about the interesting history of Tifft and how is plays a major role in Buffalo’s past.  You’ll get to spend the afternoon learning how the layout of the preserve has been affected over the years and find some secret spots where you can still see remnants of its history.  Along with all of that you’ll get the chance to marvel at nature’s ability to reclaim the land and use old maps and photos to imagine the orginal layout of the preserve.  So take your Dad outdoors for some fresh air and history at the Tifft Nature Preserve from 2pm to 4pm.
