Happy Father’s Day!!  Make sure you spend the day thanking the greatest man that made you what you are today!  Lots of activities that will definitely score you brownie points today with your Dad!

Today at the Niagara Wine Trail USA take Dad out to experience their Wine and Cheese event.  The event runs today from noon until 6pm.  You’ll get the chance to celebrate with Dad while you check out some of his favorite wines and cheese!  It’s even National Dairy Month so the Wine Trail is pulling out all of the stops for Dad and serving up the best of the best!  Tickets for today include a wine tasting and cheese pairing at each winery and a commemorative wine glass at your starting winery.  It’s Wine and Cheese at the Niagara Wine Trail USA!

Then again if your Dad isn’t into wine but LOVES trains then this will be a big hit with him today.  Today at the Medina Railroad Museum is their Father’s Day Train Ride.  There are trains leaving the station at 11am and 2pm today.  You’ll get to relax with your Dad and the family today on a two hour train ride through the Erie Canal corridor from Medina to Lockport and then back.  Along with that your admission will also include admission to the largest railroad and toy train museum.  Dad’s who love trains will love this event today!

Finally if your Dad is the outdoors type like my Dad you’ll want to check out this event!  Today at the Tifft Nature Preserve from 2pm to 4p they will be holding the Tifft History Tour.  Spend the day at Tifft learning all about the interesting history of Tifft and how is plays a major role in Buffalo’s past.  You’ll get to spend the afternoon learning how the layout of the preserve has been affected over the years and find some secret spots where you can still see remnants of its history.  Along with all of that you’ll get the chance to marvel at nature’s ability to reclaim the land and use old maps and photos to imagine the orginal layout of the preserve.  So take your Dad outdoors for some fresh air and history at the Tifft Nature Preserve from 2pm to 4pm.
