Sabres can’t handle Caps this time
The Sabres gave the Washington Capitals an early 3-0 lead, but managed to climb back into the game with goals from Derek Roy and Jordon Leopold. But an empty netter sealed the Sabres fate, losing 4-2 last night. They’re back at home against the first place LA Kings tomorrow and host Tampa Bay on Saturday Night.
WASHINGTON — The Washington Capitals are legitimate Stanley Cup contenders, a team that doesn’t need help to win. Anyone willing to spot them three goals is just asking for trouble.
