Who knew that last month's reunion of the French Connection would be it's last. Rick Martin, the famed #7,  died in Clarence today in a car accident. Witnesses said he was slumped over the wheel before the accident, and early reports said he may have suffered a heart attack while driving his car. Shocking news for sure. He was only 59. It is a loss for the Sabres and the city of Buffalo. Martin was the fifth player taken overall in the 1971 Draft and teamed with Gilbert Perrault and Rene Robert to create the most dynamic line in Sabres history. Share your favorite memories here.
