Will There Be A Rick James Movie?

Buffalo has had a lot of music stars come from these parts, but no one left a bigger mark (good or bad) than Mr. Rick James.

Now comes word that a major motion picture is in the works about his life, loves, downfall, comeback and death.

Jack hopes that his music isn't overshadowed in the process.

Rick James made some of the best party tunes ever: "Give It To Me Baby", "Mary Jane", "You and I", plus the classic "Super Freak".

Maybe Eddie Murphy can play Rick -- after all, they worked together on Eddie's "Party All The Time" (not a classic).
