Pretty Faces vs. Brains in Television [POLL]

Something definitely seems strange about Ann Curry's fast exit from The Today Show and rebound girl Savannah Guthrie hasn't exactly raised the show's ratings. Jack views it like this... It's like replacing the girlfriend you've dated for five years with the rebound girl two days later... and making her your girlfriend.. it just won't last. Of course, that's not exactly a stab at Guthrie, well it kinda is, but she can't help that she replaced someone I've watched every morning. Anyways, this got us thinking how well the rebound girl will help The Today Show in the long run. Or is  she just another pretty face?

What would you appreciate more when you wake up? News from blonde-haired blue-eyed hottie? Or a girl (or guy) not as hot with better journalistic talent?
