If you suffer from COPD, you have a hard time breathing. But thanks to breakthrough prescriptions, relief is in sight. However, it will cost you.

It seems that the risks outweigh the benefits when treating COPD. Here are some side effects of two different drugs that treat the disease:
- Rash
- Hives
- Swelling of the face, mouth, and tongue
- Breathing problems

OK, not bad.

But there’s more:
- Tremors
- Nervousness
- Glaucoma and cataracts
- Thrush
- Bone Pain
- Seizures
- Trouble speaking
- Numbness of the limbs

Say what?!

Now sure, not all of these will happen, but what if they do? Many of these make the illness look like the better option.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m not trying to single out those with COPD or any other disease. And I applaud the scientists that are able to help better these situations. But a pill that makes you crap yourself? (Yes, there’s one out there. Probably more than one.) No thank you.
