Loving Summer with WYRK, WBLK, WMSX, WBUF and Labatt Blue

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.  A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING.  VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

  1. HOW TO ENTER
  2. The Loving Summer contest will begin on 12:00 am EST Tuesday May 1 2018 and end on 11:59 pm EST Tuesday August 14 2018
  3. To participate in the contest, you may enter via the following method(s): Listeners (21 years of age or older can visit any TOPS Friendly Market location in the Western New York area or the following locations: Hat Trix, Castaways, Strikers, Duff’s in Orchard Park, JP Fitzgerald's, Coyote Café, Dockside, Slick Willie's, Mooney’s on Military, Eden Ale House, The 33, Vinny's, Templeton Landing, Santora's on Millersport, Santora's on Transit, Hoak's, Grill at the Dome, Say Cheese Pizza Company, Kodiak Jack's, Wales Center Hotel, Ebenezer Ale House, Caputi's Sheridan Pub...to look for the Labatt Blue Display and get the contest code: “PONTOON” they then can submit it to wyrk.com, www.wblk.com, www.mix96buffalo.com, www.929jackfm.com to enter on-line. Contestants will be selected via on-line and on-site at various (PONTOON PARTIES TBD).  Each qualifier will be notified by a Townsquare Media representative and will be invited to the Giveaway Party.  Qualifiers will be notified e-mail and phone call.  In the event that a participant cannot be reached, that person's position will be forfeited and an alternate will be selected.  At the Giveaway Party, a reverse lottery will be conducted to determine ten (10) Finalists to be invited to the Erie County Fair August 14th at 3 pm EST to determine one (1) grand prize winner of the Pontoon boat.  A reverse lottery is one in which all of the checked-in contestants names will be put into a drawing bin.  A station representative will randomly pick out names.  If a contestants name is called, he or she will be eliminated from the contest.  The last ten (10) names remaining will be invited to the GRAND PRIZE EVENT.
  4. ONE ENTRY PER PERSON
  5. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS
  6. The contest is open to all WYRK listeners who are 21 years of age or older and who legally reside in the Greater Buffalo, Western New York broadcast region of the radio station. Employees of WYRK, WBLK, WMSX, WBUF (the “Stations”), Try It Distribution, Labatt USA Company LLC, its licensee, its corporate parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, its advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations in the Greater Buffalo metropolitan area and the members of their immediate families AND/OR HOUSEHOLDS are ineligible to participate or win.
  7. Only one winner per household is permitted in any Station contest.
  8. Winners must live in continental United States and have valid photo identification.
  9. Contestants are required to provide truthful information and the Station will reject and delete any entry that it discovers to be false or fraudulent. The Station will disqualify any entry from individuals who do not meet the eligibility requirements, and the Station will also delete any entry received from persons under the age of 13 in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.
  10. PRIZES
  11. One winner will win a 2018 HARRIS 200 CX Cruiser Single Galvanized Pontoon Boat with Trailer ARV: $25,000
  12. All prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the office of the Station at the address below. The winner will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed within forty-five (45) days of winning.  In the event that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the winner and therefore, winner assumes the risk of its loss.  The Station is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate.  Winners will make arrangements with Labatt USA Company LLC to claim prize.
  13. There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash. The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses.  Other restrictions may apply.
  14. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
  15. Decisions of the Station management with respect to the contest are final.
  16. Contestants (106) will be selected via on-line and on-site at various (PONTOON PARTIES TBD).   17. Preliminary Giveaway Party will be from August 10th 2018 6:30 p-8:30 p EST. Ten (10) contestants will be chosen from among the eligible qualifiers in a reverse lottery draw. All eligible contestants need to present in person (substitutes allowed) and be checked-in with a member of the WYRK staff by 6:30 pm ET in order to be eligible to win the Prize.
  18. Grand Prize drawing to be held at the Erie County Fair August 14th at 3 pm EST to determine one (1) grand prize winner of the Pontoon boat
  19. Odds of being selected for the final 10 contestants via the reverse lottery draw party 1:106 depending on number of eligible participants in attendance.
  20. Odds of winning the GRAND PRIZE 1:10
  21. Winner must be present to win.
  22. Winner must execute and return any required Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability Prize Acceptance Form within ten (10) days of notification attempt or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be chosen by random drawing of all other eligible contestants.
  23. CONDITIONS
  24. Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winners. Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent.

 

  1. By participating in the contest, the winner or winners agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize.
  2. Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, the Station in its sole discretion may require contest winners (and their travel companions, if any) to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold the Station, its corporate licensee, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated corporations, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.
  3. The Station reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize or equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement. “If due to circumstances beyond the control of the Station, any competition or prize-related event is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or cancelled, the Station reserves the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.”
  4. Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification solely at the discretion of the Station.
  5. The Station, Labatt USA Company LLC, and Try-It Distributing are not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest, or in the announcement of a prize.
