Police in the Town of Hamburg are investigating a possible murder-suicide. Read more here.

The horrible incident happened yesterday (January 16) morning at a home on Loring Avenue in Hamburg. A man who identified himself as Kevin, called 911 and told dispatchers that he shot his girlfriend and planned to shoot himself, according to WGRZ. When officer arrived and tried to make contact with the man, they heard a gunshot. Police found the female victim deceased, on the kitchen floor. The man, identified as Kevin Kopper, was found dead in a bedroom, from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The female victim was identified as Danielle Morse. WGRZ reports that in various Facebook postings, "Morse reflected on what appeared to be a troubled relationship."
