The phenomenon that is Pokémon Go has claimed its latest victim. A teenager who was playing the augmented-reality game on his phone as he was driving through the streets of Baltimore accidentally sideswiped a parked police cruiser. The whole event was caught on camera by a nearby officer's body camera.

As the teen said moments later after getting out of his car, "That's what I get for playing this dumb-*** game." Indeed.

The impact wasn't severe, and no one was injured. Other than the boy's pride, of course. And his car-insurance premiums. And possibly his permanent record. While it's never a good idea to hit another car while driving, it's particularly unfortunate if that car happens to be a police car.

(And no, there will be no "Gotta catch 'em all" joke in this post. For that, please go to any other Pokémon-related story currently on the internet.)
