Pearl Jam Is Going Back To The Basics

Pearl Jam return to Buffalo this fall, and early reports have the band getting back to their roots.

Eddie really wanted to capture the vibe of those early years, more up-tempo numbers, more interaction with the audience.

Don't look for Mr. Vedder to be climbing the amps on the side of the stage (like in the "Alive" video -- or was it "Even Flow"?), but the band wants to play and play hard.

Now, does this mean they won't do that cover of "Call Me Maybe"?
