As the rest of us ponder the possibility of a reunion of the original lineup of Guns N' Roses, another name has weighed in. Nikki Sixx has said unequivocally that the group are getting back together.

To him, it's not even a well-kept secret. The Motley Crue bassist was asked during a Twitter Q&A if they should get back together. Succinctly, he wrote, in all capital letters, "They are. Everybody knows."

Because he answered with only four words, Sixx doesn't say if he has any inside information. But he is close with someone who knows Axl Rose pretty well. DJ Ashba, his guitarist with Sixx: A.M., was a member of Guns N' Roses until he quit this summer to devote his time to Sixx: A.M.

Then again, one person who says the rumors aren't true is Vicky Hamilton, who once managed Guns N' Roses and Poison and has worked with Motley Crue. Yesterday on Facebook, she said that she had gotten a denial straight from one of the principals.

"Ok, was texting with Slash who is on tour," she wrote. "He says the GNR tour isn't happening. So, that's all I know. Your guess is as good as mine."

The latest wave of speculation about whether or not they will get back together began earlier this week, when the combination of some ambiguous tweets from the band, an anonymous source saying a verbal agreement was in place and a quote from a reality TV star who knows Duff McKagan's wife suggested that it was happening. Still, there has been no official word -- in either direction -- about a reunion.
