The NFL has to oversee everything about players, including the uniforms they wear. Even approving anything on them, including a new addition to their cleats.

But, this week they're OK with dozens of players wearing “My Cause, My Cleats” campaign cleats for week 13. According to WFAA,

Players can wear cleats recognizing a charity or good cause of their choosing. After the Week 13 games, the cleats will be auctioned off, with proceeds going toward each cause.

Three Cowboy will wear cleats in honor of cornerback Brandon Carr’s foundation, “Carr Cares,” which has done work benefiting several causes from Dallas schools to the water crisis in Flint, Michigan.
