Another week with a single movie opening in wide release, but everyone’s so excited about this one that it may have needed the entire weekend to itself. Sorry, 21 Jump Street, you never stood a chance.

The long-awaited ‘The Hunger Games,’ based on the best-selling novel by Suzanne Collins, is the story of a post-apocalyptic world in which an annual event pits children selected by lottery against each other in a televised battle to the death. When 16-year-old Katniss Everdeen’s little sister is chosen to compete, Katniss steps in to take her place and must rely upon her sharp instincts and trusted allies to survive. This movie is so big, Jack FM couldn't get free tickets, but we do have tickets to see 21 Jump Street in our trailer park. Guess we know how we rate now.

Here’s a sneak peek.
