Home games will be played at RiverWorks on Ganson Street in downtown Buffalo beginning in April of this year.  The 2017 schedule shows the Blitz will play eight regular season games beginning Saturday, April 8th with five home games and three on the road.  The Blitz will play home and away games against teams from Niagara Falls, NY, Cleveland and Ontario Niagara as well as single games against Glens Falls and Connecticut.  The playoffs begin June 3rd.

The Can-Am Indoor Football League plays its games on a 50-yard field, basically within the confines of a hockey rink.  Eight players on the field at a time, there's no punting and two receivers can be in motion toward the line of scrimmage at the snap.

The Buffalo Blitz Indoor Football and the Buffalo Gladiators minor-pro football teams will hold open tryouts this Sunday, January 29th at the Ad Pro Sports Center (Buffalo Bills Fieldhouse) from 1:00 - 3:00 pm.

The fee to tryout for the Gladiators is $15.00.  The fee a Blitz tryout is $50.00.
