New Bingo Law Coming To WNY Has Some People Mad
Buffalo loves their Bingo. Every night of the week there are TONS of places including, churches and halls who host bingo and will fill up each time.
Right now, there is no law saying that kids can't go to bingo, but now that is all about to change. On July 9 the minimum age will be 18 in order to play bingo in Western New York and the rest of the state.
It is important to note that you CAN still go inside the halls if you're under 18., but cannot play. The change is drawing a lot of attention and resistance from regulars who bring their kids or grand kids.
If you are a regular, you may like the new law says the maximum single Bingo prize will go up from $1,000 to $5,000.
