Nevermen (Faith No More, TV on the Radio Members) Share Animated Video for ‘Mr. Mistake’

Though Nevermen were recently forced to cancel their first-ever tour together due to illness, they’re still managing to promote their newly minted eponymous debut. Today (Feb. 9), the supergroup has unveiled a music video for album single “Mr. Mistake.”

The clip features hand-drawn animation created by award-winning Japanese artist Sarina Nihei, and it depicts a girl making her way across an ever-changing and ever-collapsing landscape. It’s more than fitting of the bombastic track. Check it out in the video player up above (via Juxtapoz).

Nevermen -- comprised of Faith No More’s Mike Patton, TV on the Radio’s Tunde Adebimpe and Doseone -- dropped their self-titled album at the end of last month via Ipecac Recordings. While the band had to cancel their tour dates planned for this month, they said they hope to reschedule the shows “in the near future.”

Just as Nevermen was out and in the world, Patton was off to his next project. He'll reform Kaada/Patton, his other side project with composer-producer John Kaada, and release Bacteria Cult, their first album together in 12 years, on April 1.
