This weekend (Saturday, September 1-Sunday, September 2), Buffalo showcased what we’re all about: chicken wings and charity. The 11th annual National Buffalo Wing Festival at Coca-Cola Field was a major success, once again.

On average, the two-day festival, featuring both local and national restaurants, draws around half a million people into the city, generating over $200,000 for local charities. This year’s Wing Fest included entertainment from Lee Ron Zydeco, S.B. Reeves Outfit, Eric Houghton Band and 90 West, plus an Elvis tribute from Terry Buchwald and a Jimmy Buffet tribute by Private Dreams.
