The season finale of ‘Saturday Night Live’ is becoming a mini-all star rock party. Mick Jagger will host and perform during the May 19 broadcast. The Foo Fighters and Arcade Fire will join him on stage during his performances on the show.

Entertainment Weekly first reported the story on Friday morning, pointing out that Foo Fighter’s Dave Grohl has been on the show three times as much as the Rolling Stones‘ frontman. However Grohl has never hosted, something Jagger will be doing solo for the first time.

In 1978 Jagger hosted the show with the rest of the Rolling Stones, and he has also since starred as a musical guest. He also returned earlier this year to cameo when Jimmy Fallon hosted.

Will Farrell hosts this weekend (May 12) episode. It’s widely speculated that this season will be the final one for show regulars Andy Samberg, Jason Sudeikis and Kristine Wiig.
